Taraba State Police Command Steps up Security, Seeks Collaborative Efforts

As the Christmas season continues to draw near and its probable rise in the wave of crime and criminality, the Commissioner of Police, Taraba State Police Command,CP Ukachi Peter Opara, has commenced  a move to ensure that Taraba state is safe for the celebration.

To achieve this aim,  Police Command, CP Opara has taken a step out of the comfort of his office to visit all other sister security agencies in the state.

In view of this, and recognizing the roles of sister security agencies and other critical stakeholders, the state commissioner of police has continued to seek for collaborative efforts in fighting crime and criminality in the state.

According to a statement signed on Tuesday by the Public Relation Officer, Taraba State Police Command,  SP Abdullahi Usman, the Commissioner of Police emphatically elaborate on the need for collaborative effort against crime when he paid courtesy visits to the Taraba state Director of DSS; the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and State Commandant Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA) all of Taraba State.

The CP emphasizes on the age long relationship between Police and other sister agencies. He also stressed on the need for indissoluble synergy and cooperation, adding that with firm collaboration, the state would be better policed.

In their separate remarks, the visibly happy heads of other security agencies visited pledged their supports, noting the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure safety and security of citizens of the state.
