This is not a good time for one Jude Irabor, a businessman at old Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State, South -South Nigeria.
Irabor was arrested recently for alleged homosexual act, while his partner, identified as Aghedo Karim, who were both allegedly caught in the homosexual act escaped.
Irabor, it was gathered, was arrested at Edo- Delta Hotel, Akpapava Road, Avbiama, Benin City, South -South Nigeria and detained in the police custody, while his partner, Aghedo Karim escaped from the hotel.
It was gathered that Irabor and Aghedo Karim came to the hotel on the fateful day and lodged in the same room.
Source said they were both naked in the room, engaging in homosexual activities when police forcefully busted into the room.
It was gathered that the police immediately arrested Irabor in the room but Aghedo Karim escaped by jumping out of the room through the window.
Source said the police traced Karim to his house the next day but was nowhere to be found.
As of press time, sources from upper Mission Extension Road in Uteh Community, where Karim leave said he may have run away from the country.
It was gathered that Karim has been declared wanted and handsome reward awaits anybody that provides useful information leading to his arrest.
Source at Uteh Community said Karim was employed by Jude Irabor to work with him in his company, Bob Oshodin Organization Ltd, situated at km 7, Old Sapele Road Benin City, Edo State.
Sources said Irabor may have lured Karim to homosexual act as a condition to secure his job.
Meanwhile, the elders of Uteh Community, according to source, have said homosexual act is a taboo and as a result, Karim must not be seen in the community again and if he visits the community again, he will face execution.
homosexuality is criminal offence in the law of Federal republic of Nigeria, which attracted severe punishment and several years of jail term.
