Tragedy struck on Wednesday morning in Lagos as the notorious Otedola Bridge, along Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, recorded another fatal crash, with some casualties.
As of press time, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA has confirmed one person dead.
The Factual gathered that the crash involved many vehicles. According to an eyewitness, the accident involves a containerized truck, a pickup and a high capacity bus as well as several cars.
The Factual gathered that the accident happened at about 8 am during the early morning downpour at Otedola Bridge, out ward Lagos to Berger.
Although the remote cause of the accident could not be ascertained as of press time, eyewitness attributed it to over speeding. The injured victims have also been taken to various hospitals for treatment
In a related development, multiple accidents were also recorded at Oju-Odo inward Ikola Junction on Ipaja-Command Road on Wednesday morning. Official of LASTMA reported the development, though no causalities were recorded.
