Why loaded trucks should avoid Ojuelegba-Moshalasi Idi-Oro- Olosha Road

Following the dilapidated state of many roads in Lagos in the past few months; couple with the current incessant rain in the state, The Factual can honestly advice truckers to avoid Ojuelegba-Moshalasi Idi-Oro -Oloosha Road.

Findings have shown that the road from Moshalasi bus stop inward Idi-Oro to Oloosha is currently in a decrepit state; unfortunately, most of the bad portions on the said road is currently covered up by water, which makes it difficult for driver to know if the place is passable or not.

The Factual can report authoritatively that not less than four trucks fell at Moshalashi bus stop between Monday 21st and Friday 25th, October 2019. Each of the fallen trucks, which were fully loaded, entered one of the craters on the spot which has also been covered up by water and then fell.

Currently, cars going to Mushin from Ojuelegba are talking alternative roads while others who must go through Moshalasi resort to driving against the traffic (one way).

While driving against traffic (one way) is an offence and not advisable, loaded articulated vehicles coming from the port and has anything doing in Mushin should think of alternative roads to get to Mushin.

Meanwhile, motorists plying the road have called on the Lagos State government to urgently repair the road.
