Popular Yoruba actress, Alhaja Musiliat Arikeusola, popularly known as Osuntohun in Koto movie passed away on Friday at 67, after brief illness.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary, Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria in Osun State, Ademola Adedokun, the actress died on Friday morning in her house at Ijetu area, Osogbo, Osun State.
According to Adedokun, the late actress is a “passionate and committed actress who gave her best to the vocation.”
Adedokun stated in the statement that late Osuntohun appeared in several movies which include the popular Koto Orun, Aye Akamora as well as Koto Aye, produced by late Ajileye.
According to Adedokun, Osuntohun also produced movies like ‘Omi Ipin’ and ‘Imi Esin’.
Adedokun added that ‘Ogun Omo Iya le’ was Osuntohun last work until her demise on Friday.
