…Charges young generation on due process, focus, persistence
The Founder of Shiloh Word Chapel, Prophet I. O Samuel has charged the younger generation, be it in ministry and every other endeavor to avoid cutting corner, hit and run; but to be focused and follow due process in whatever they are doing, after which the desire good result will come.
The prophet gave the advice in Abuja at the weekend while reflecting on his beginning in ministry.
He said “We live in a world where people are not ready to go through the process of growth. Today’s generation wants results anyhow! Forgetting that every product must go through a process, when you miss the process, you miss the product.
“It’s amazing, you see a young man just finishing school, and he wants to be riding the most expensive car; it doesn’t work like that. LIFE IS IN PHASES, MEN ARE IN SIZES.
“It’s amazing that some ministers look at us today. They think we suddenly got to where we are today in ministry, No!!! We have been at it for some time. Start your journey; be ready to grow through all the developmental processes’ that’s the only way to build a virile and sustainable vision in life.
“Hit and run does not work, stay consistent and grow!.
“1 Corinthians 15:58 says… Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain..
“Galatians 6:9….And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
“We need focus and consistency; it is what you focus on in life that becomes a subject of focus to the world. Don’t do hit and run with your vision in life. Be focused; stay consistent and ready to grow through the developmental process, that’s how to sustain it.
“The first Adam failed; I think he didn’t grow into manhood. He was made a full grown man. To sustain your vision in life, be ready to grow, stay focus and be consistent”, the Prophet advised.
