The Abuja based church, Shiloh word chapel will be celebrating its 11th year anniversary on July 30 and 31st, 2022.
The theme for this year’s anniversary is “The wings of eagle”.
Speaking in a media chat recently, the general overseer of the church, Prophet I. O Samuel, joyously invites everyone to the event holding at Apo mechanic Village Abuja.
In his word, he said “in the book of exodus, the Lord tells Moses that He would carried the people on Eagles’ wings. Even today, God carries us on eagle’s wings.
What does “carried on Eagle’s Wings” mean? “You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.”
“The eagle is a very powerful bird that has great strength. God is all powerful and has great strength. Eagles are very caring parents. They protect their young ones with a high nest. Both parents bring food to the eaglets and teach them how to fly. If an eaglet struggles in flight, a parent will swoop under the young bird and carry them, so they don’t fall”
“To be carried is to rely on someone else. God wants us to rely on Him and only God could free the Hebrews from Egypt. God wants the people to worship Him and so He carried them out of Egypt so they could do so. He carried them to Himself. This brief phrase makes it clear it was God who made it possible for the Hebrews to escape Egypt”.
Speaking further, the clergyman said”does God still carry us on Eagles’ wings today?
The answer is yes. The Lord goes before us daily. All of our sins were placed on our Savior Jesus upon the cross, something only the Lord could do. Only God could free us from sin”.
The work of the Holy Spirit draws us to faith and when we believe the Holy Spirit takes up residence in our heart. The Lord lifts us up and encourages us through His Word. The Lord hears our prayers as we lift our voices up to His throne. Wow! We have an amazing God”!
Speaking on what the general public should expect at this year anniversary, prophet Samuel said “Our ministry loves to connect with people and that’s why we are inviting you all to this year’s anniversary. It is loaded, God is set to show you what it takes to ride fully on his wings. As a ministry, He has brought us to where we least expected we would be. He can do that and even more for you and anyone, that’s why we are inviting you.”
According to the church founder, gospel ministers scheduled to minister alongside himself- Prophet I.O Samuel, Include Ema Onyx, and many other great ministers of the gospel.
