Yusuf Earns Reward of Diligence

………bows out as Comptroller of NCS

For retired Controller Alhaji Musa Yusuf, it it was that of success earned through hardworking, dedication and commitment to service; no wonder he was among the few custom officers that were elevated to the rank of controller and decorated on Tuesday January 10, 2023.

Alhaji Yusuf joined Nigeria Customs Service as a young officer determined to discharge his duty meritoriously , vowed never to compromise; neither to be found guilty nor wanting but to be upright , humane and a good team player with ability to serve under any conditions, be it conducive or not , but with a goal to overcome whenever needs arises .

In the process of carrying out his duty as an officer with Nigeria Customs Service of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Controller Musa Yusuf has the nation’ s interest at heart.

Yusuf began his service in NCS at Niger as the OC Patrol of operation department , served as Kebbi OC ACG squad, worked as Katsina OC Roving and Command Monitoring Team. Thereafter, he was transferred to NCS Zone A, Lily Pound Command as OC bounding & Bulk Cargo seats.

He also spare-head the team that hatched a special operation on water to stop the flow of perboiled rice on Benin -Badagry water where he made massive seizure on the sea during the administration of late CGC Dikko Abdullahi Inde.

Alhaji Yusuf was called upon to serve at EI&I headquarters; worked at FOU Zone D; FOU Bauchi-D Operations Port Harcourt Area 1 command as NPA 2IC, Joe-Eboje Bonded Terminal and Zone B, and lastly Zone A CGC Strike Force Enforcement unit Apapa Area command, a Coordinator with yet unbeatable seizures records .

After putting in a meritorious service for his fatherland, the immediate past Coordinator, CGC Strike Force Zone ‘A “, Alhaji Musa Yusuf, was promoted with an overdue, well deserved rank of Comptroller in the Nigeria Customs Service .

Retired Comptroller Alhaji Musa Yusuf was among the newly promoted Comptrollers decorated on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at the NCS Headquarters, Abuja. He will be remembered for his unblemished service dedication at the Nigeria Custom Service.
