Cultist Father Declares Son Wanted for Confraternity Initiation

For a young man identified as Osague Collins Osaivbe, this may not be the best of time and this is because danger appears to be lurking for him as his suspected occultic father, is allegedly looking for him to forcefully initiate him into the Ogboni fraternity.

Our correspondent gathered that Collins’ father is a popular figure in Ugha community, Uhunmwonde local government area, Edo State South South Nigeria, and he’s popularly known as Mr. Osague.

He was known to be an ardent member of the popularly known Ogboni fraternity. Because he holds a key position in a secret cult, he has reportedly been mandated to present his son who will represent him in the confraternity when he eventually passes on and he must do so before he attains a certain age. Failure to do so, the source said will attract grievous consequences.

A source told our correspondent that Mr. Osague had been persuading Osague Collins Osaivbe to be his replacement in the group but he refused until he started using forceful means and later gave him an ultimatum.

The source said Mr. Osague may have given his son the ultimatum on when he would be initiated because it appears he has attained the permitted age after which there is no grace than for him to face the consequences.

The source said Osague Collins Osaivbe has since run away and all effort by his father to locate him has proved abortive.

Our correspondent gathered that Pa. Osague has since searched everywhere but couldn’t find Collins.

Although there is rumour that Collins has travelled out of the country, his father has mandated his mother to produce him. And because of that he has been maltreating her and inflicted various degrees of injury on her, alleging that she knows where Collins is hiding.

A priest in the community, according to a source, has also said the body of Collins whether dead or alive now belongs to the cult group since his father has already submitted his name.
