Tinubu Retired Army, Naval, Custom Bosses, Other Service Chiefs

...Approves replacement

Nigeria President, Bola Tinubu has retired all service chiefs, including the chiefs of army staff, naval staff, inspector general of police, the service advisers as well as the comptroller general of customs.

According to a statement signed on Monday by Willie Bassey, Director of  Information in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, president Tinubu has also immediately appointed replacement for each of the retired service chiefs.

The newly appointed Officers are listed below.

Finally, the President has approved the appointment of Adeniyi Bashir Adewale as the Ag. Comptroller General of Customs.

It is to be noted that the appointed Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police and the Comptroller General of Customs are to act in their positions, pending their confirmation in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
