Adeboye Advises Tinubu on Killing: Order Service Chiefs to End Killing in 90 Days or They Resign

By Ranmilowo Ojalumo -The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has advised Nigeria president, Bola Tinubu to give his service chiefs an order to end terrorism and killing across the country within 90, or they should resign.
Pastor Adeboye gave the advice while addressing the workers and ministers, shortly after the mission’s November Holy Ghost service at the Redemption camp new auditorium in Shimawa.
He gave the advice against the backdrop of the statement from the American presidents, Donald trump who had described Nigeria as a country of particular concern (CPC) over the growing killing in the country, which he particularly described as Christian genocide.
At the meeting, Adeboye specifically urge Tinubu to move fast, diplomatically and wisely in addressing the growing concerns about the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria. He noted that this is not the time to speak grammar or argue whether it is Christian of Muslim genocide, noting that every soul is precious to God whether Christian, Muslim or whatever religion one practices.
He lamented that there used to be harmony between Christian and Muslim in Nigeria. There were times in Nigeria when Christians and Muslims were living together. I have families that are Muslims till date. When I was little, I ate sari with them, and I still eat my breakfast”, he said, noting that the problem started when some “crazy” people introduced religion into politics.
Since the problem started, the clergy man said he has reached out to all the presidents in power, but the problem persist, stressing that he can only advise the commander in chief, not forcing them.
He noted that if he was given the opportunity to advise the president he has something to tell him. Adeboye said “you only advise commander in chief of army forces, you can’t force them. I have tried my best, God is my witness. What should we do if I am to suggest? The president should move fast, diplomatically and wisely. Ask Trump to delay his action for about 100 days, and then come home and tell our security chiefs to get rid of these terrorists within 90 days or resign.”
“Make it clear to the security chiefs that they should not only eliminate terrorism but they should also eliminate their sponsor no matter their position. This is not the time to speak grammar or argue, is it suicide or kidnap? This is not the time to say it’s not Christians alone, Muslims are also involved; the truth is that innocent people are being killed”.
The RCCG general overseer however stated the need for Nigeria to take caution and tread carefully in its diplomatic dealings with global powers, stating that no foreign nation would come and rescue the country if conflict escalates.
“When I say our leaders should move diplomatically, we must take note of the fact that if America should attack us, China is not coming to defend us, likewise Russia and Britain. All the so-called world leaders will talk and condemn what America has done, but they won’t help us.”
Daddy G O as he’s fondly called said he was surprised with a portion in the president recent speech where it was stated that the country is defeating terrorism and the displaced are returning to their village.
“I heard him saying, all is well now, that displaced people have returned to their villages. I almost said the one who wrote that speech does not like him. Somebody wrote it, but it was the President who read it. That is unlike him. There are several people around Tinubu who are not telling him the truth. The following day we read that a traditional ruler was killed in Kwara or Kogi.”
Although he admitted that Tinubu inherited the problem, but he need to find solution. He said “our President inherited this problem no doubt, I am an applied mathematician; I am only interested in getting the problem solved”.
On whether he had hint of the problem before today, he said he did not ask his members earlier in the year to fast for 100 days for nothing. “I shared with you that God said this year will be a remarkable year that the wind blowing last year will be more violent this year. Any time we have meetings like this, God picks the topic. By this time next week, we will be having the Holy Ghost service in Abuja. He gave us the theme, ‘Fear not,’ and that was before Trump spoke. I know with this, there will be peace again in Nigeria”, Adeboye said.
Adeboye however urged the government to move fast, even as he quoted the Newton law of motion, saying an object will remain the way it is unless an external force acted on it. Giving soothing and comforting words to his member, Daddy G.O said “but to you my children, God said fear not”.
