Homosexual: Security Operatives Declare 2 Ladies, Their Surety Wanted

The security operatives in Edo State have declared one Miss Harriet Akpovwovwo and her suspected partner identified as Miss Ivie Osakpolor wanted for alleged involvement in homosexual acts and also jumping bail.

They are both residents of Upper Sakponba, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

According to sources, Harriet Akpovwovwo and her partner, Ivie Osakpolor, were said to be engaging in the same-sex affair at Harriet’s residence on February 25, 2024,  and they were caught in the act.

It was gathered that the development eventually attracted significant public attention.

According to our sources, the romantic relationship between Harriet and Ivie was exposed by one of Harriet’s apprentices, leading to widespread controversy.

It was gathered that both women were physically assaulted when they were caught by members of the Edo State Security Network (local vigilantes) and several neighboring residents.

After their arrest by police authorities, they remained in custody until February 27, 2024, when they were released on bail with a surety.

Source said both Harriet and Ivie however breached their bail conditions and have since absconded.

In view of that, Mr. Osakpolor Sylvester, who acted as their guarantor, has also disappeared and now declared wanted by the authorities and as of the time of this report,  the whereabouts of Mr. Sylvester remain unknown.

The security operatives are actively seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Harriet Akpovwovwo, Ivie Osakpolor, and Mr. Osakpolor Sylvester; as they have urged the general public to provide useful information that may assist in locating them.

Homosexual is a criminal offence in Nigeria and offenders are liable to 14 years imprisonment.

Meanwhile, the operatives are on the search for Harriet Akpovwovwo and Ivie Osakpolor for prosecution. Their failure to comply with their bail conditions may have also compounded their case when eventually caught.
