The Powerful Pen Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has congratulated, Mr. Adeleye Ajayi, Chairman, NUJ, Lagos State Council, on his appointment as the Head of News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Lagos office.
The Chapel described the appointment as well-deserved, especially for a seasoned, accomplished and professional Journalist, like Mr. Ajayi.
Speaking during the Powerful Pen Congress, held yesterday, May 16, 2024, at Apapa, the Chapel Chairman, Udeme Clement, described Adeleye Ajayi as a knowledgeable and highly skilled Journalist, who is being well trained within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
She said; “Mr. Ajayi is the best man for the job. He is an efficient and very articulate writer. He is hard-working, versatile and resilient. He is has what it takes to add value to the Agency. We are really proud of him, and remain optimistic that he will perform beyond expectations. ”
Members of The Powerful Pen Chapel, applauded NAN for appointing the NUJ Chairman into this exalted position, stressing that the Agency stands to benefit immensely from his competence and repertoire .
