Homosexual: How Irate Youths Allegedly Burn Man to Death, as Partner Escapes

It was a sorry scene last week in Katako Area of Jos, Plateau State, when an angry youths allegedly lynched a man to death and subsequently set him ablaze.

It was gathered that the man identified as Joseph R llawagbon was allegedly caught in homosexual act, having sex with another man identified as Musa Kamara in an uncompleted building.

The victim, it was gathered, was a house house help to one Mr Irabor Yusuf who lives in Katako Area of Jos.

Sources said the youths in the area have earlier noticed the closeness of the two lovers and open display of affection and amorous behavior with each other.

According to an eye witness who pleaded anonymous, trouble started for the lovers on the fateful day, when Joseph R llawagbon and Musa Kamara started displaying amorously with each other openly, thereby attracting attention of the people around them.

The source said when the two lovers could no longer hold themselves, they moved to a nearby uncompleted building and started having sex, unknown to them that some of the youths were trailing them. And by the time the youth bursted into the place where they were hiding in the uncompleted building, they were caught bear naked, having sex.

Sources said Musa Kamara was lucky enough to escape immediately, but Joseph R llawagbon was unlucky as the youth held him, beat him and allegedly set him ablaze.

According to sources, although the youths have searched everywhere for Musa Kamara, they have not been able to apprehend him but they are optimistic that they will get him.

Homosexual is not just considered as an abomination in the Northern part of Nigeria, (Haram), it is a criminal act in the country, and offenders are liable to 14 years imprisonment.
