Islamic cleric calls for parental guidance, as ex-footballer gives out daughter’s hand in marriage

An Ibadan based Islamic Scholar, Mudir Abdulrahman Ali has called on Muslim parents to guide their children against lust and other vices that can affect their future.
He made this known during the Nikkah ceremony of Azeezat Owolabi and Ismail Yusuf held in Ibadan recently.
Azeezat is the daughter of popular Ibadan ex-footballer and die hard supporter of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3sc) Mr. Isiaka Owolabi, a.k.a. Zico.
He admonished the couple to love each other and embrace the spirit of unity and perseverance to enjoy the marriage.
The Nikkai ceremony was graced by members from the groom and bride families, friends, colleagues and people from all walks of life.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Owolabi thanked all personalities that attended the Nikkai ceremony, and prayed that they will enjoy bliss in all their endeavours.
Following the Islamic ceremonies and prayers, guests were treated to sumptuous rounds of meals, choice drinks and good music.
The couple also spared no energy when it was dance time as they both serenaded the audience with various displays of acrobatic dance steps and moves while trying to outdo each other.
