Suspected Boko Haram Supplier, Ehige Declared Wanted

A trailer driver and suspected boko haram supplier, identified as Cole Ehige has been declared wanted by the security operatives after he reportedly jumped bail recently in Bornu State, North East Nigeria.

Our correspondent gathered that Cole Ehige and two others, identified as Sulaiman and Yusuf were arrested recently near Kwajjafa village in Bornu State.

They were said to have been arrested when they were trying to deliver some items suspected to be for members of Boko Haram.

Cole was said to have claimed to be innocent at the point of arrest that he was a trailer driver and the Sulaiman and Yusuf have been among his numerous customers because he has been carrying items for them with his trailer like every other customers and he didn’t know who the duo were supplying the goods to.

Meanwhile, It was gathered that the three suspects, with the trailer they used to convey the materials have been placed under surveillance for sometimes after the security operative got information through members of Kwajjafa community that the suspects were among those that are being used to supply various materials, including food items to the Islamic sect.

Following the tip from members of the community, source said the security operatives intercepted them on the fateful day.

Few days after their arrest, Cole Ehige was granted bail but with condition that he must always appears in court for trial alongside the other two suspects whenever the trial commence.

However, few days after his bail, sources told our correspondent that Cole Ehige started feeling uncomfortable with events that were unfolding.

Source said Cole Ehige started sensing foul play that some elements were trying to implicate him when the trial begins in the court to ensure he goes to jail, this is inspite of the fact that he was an innocent trailer driver.

In view of this, according to source, Cole Ehige jumped bail, and eventually ran away.

As of press time, nobody knows the whereabouts of the trailer driver Ehige, however, security operatives are making effort to get him arrested for Prosecution.
