Gay: Man Escapes arrest, assassination, partner in custody after homosexual scandal
One trend that is gradually gaining ground in Nigeria in recent times is homosexual relationships and this is inspite of the fact that same sex relationships in Nigeria are considered a taboo and a crime that currently attracts fourteen (14) years imprisonment.
A man identified as Osarumen Osemwengie recently escaped death in Benin after he was caught while having sex with his partner simply identified as Mr Jude.
According to sources, Osemwengie is an automobile engineer, while Jude is an aide to a notorious political thug, identified as Odion in Benin.
It was gathered that Osemwengie and Jude met sometime in 2023 when Jude took his boss vehicle to Osemwengie’s workshop for repair.
Sources said they became close to each other overtime and eventually fell in love as a result of their same sex orientation.
According to sources, trouble started for the partners on the fateful day when Osemwengie returned one of Odion’s vehicles he had repaired but when he got to Odion’s premises, he met his absence. Meanwhile, Jude and other domestic staff were around.
It was gathered that Jude invited Osemwengie into his room at the boys quarters in the premises and they were having sex until one of the male house keepers identified as Osas caught them and shouted.
It was gathered that Osemwengie immediately ran away from the premises but when Odion heard what happened, he allegedly gave instructions to some thugs and cultists working for him as security aides to arrest Jude and kill Osemwengie for committing such an abominable act in his premises.
Sources said Jude was arrested and beaten to pulp mercilessly.
It was gathered that Osemwengie didn’t go to his house to avoid arrest but went to his friend’s house at Oguola Road to hide. However, on the following day, Odion’s security men and cultists stormed his friend’s house. It was gathered that the assailants didn’t meet Osemwengie at home, hence they shot his friend identified as Ovbokhan.
Following the death of his friend, sources said Osemwengie ran away and till date, nobody could ascertain his whereabouts.
