Segun Musa Hails Customs CGC, Adeniyi’s Tenure Extension, Says CGC is Ministerial Material

By Adisa Olamilekan -Foremost freight forwarder and the the Managing Director Widescope International Logistics Limited, Dr. Oluwasegun Alade Musa has commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on tenure extension of the Comptroller General of Customs CGC Prince Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
Dr Musa who is also the Chairman/Chief Consultant, Global Transport Policy (GTP) in a goodwill message congratulates CGC for impacting positively on the service in many ways within the period of time in office, thereby enhancing Nigeria Customs Service productivity in revenue generation, anti smuggling, trade facilitation and enhanced stakeholder engagement.
Dr Musa Commended Adeniyi, saying various programmes such as Authorised Economic Operator(AEO), Time Release Study (TRS), Advance Ruling and the Unified Customs Management System, also known as B’Odogwu have served as game changers across various customs commands and formations.
He said “CG Adeniyi, a visionary leader and an astute administrator with undisputed transformative ideas, innovation, technology, collaboration with critical stakeholders, have repositioned NCS to international standard, among cordial relationship attract his tenure extension by the presidency”.
Speaking in the wake of Adeniyi’s recent election as Chairperson of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Council and the extension of his tenure by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Musa described the the customs CG as a Ministerial Material, visionary leader whose dedication and administrative acumen have earned both national and international recognition.
He emphasized that Adeniyi’s elevation to the WCO Council and the extension of his tenure are clear affirmations of his competence and commitment to reform.
