At least one person was confirmed dead last week, Easter Sunday, when two cult groups clashed at a bar along Obi ikechuckwu road, Agbor-obi, Ika South Local Government Area of Agbor, Delta State, South – South Nigeria.

It was gathered that a cult group, black axe (Aye) attacked a group of friends who are also known to be members of another cult group called Supreme Vikings Confraternity (Vikings).

The source said members of the black axe stormed the bar and started shooting sporadically at the members of the Vikings while they were drinking and celebrating Easter on April 5, 2015, at the bar.

But in the process, the bullet hit one Mr Kenneth Igumbor, who unfortunately died before getting to the hospital.

As of press time, investigation is ongoing on the cause of the clash and those behind the shooting.

Meanwhile, several faces identified to have been drinking at the bar before the clash have been declared wanted by security operatives.

It was gathered that the Vikings members that were drinking at the bar as of the time of the incident were being hosted by one Victor Okpali.

It was gathered that Victor Okpali had invited one of his friends and cousins to celebrate the Easter together at the bar before other friends joined the party.

According to sources, some of the members of the Vikings group identified to have present at the bar when the sad incident happened include Daniel Okoh, Henry, also known as Gaba, Evans, Celestine and Joel known as Ebeainor.

Unfortunately, according to sources, the members of the black axe who carried out the attack were wearing face masks during the attack, which makes it difficult to identify any of them by their faces.

Meanwhile, the combined security operatives in the community have declared Victor Okpali wanted as a prime suspect on the incident because he hosted the members of the Vikings at the bar.

The operatives have also appealed to residents of the community and its environment to visit the nearest police station if they have any information that can aid investigation and lead to the arrest of the suspects.
