Man declared wanted for alleged Homosexual activities
The Nigeria Police Force, Edo State Police Command at the Commissioner of Police office declared one man identified as Jefferson Omo Ogieriakhi wanted for his alleged involvement in homosexual activity in Benin City, an act that attracts 14 years jail terms in Nigeria.
According to the security operatives, this became imperative as Ugbor police division earlier arrested four men identified as Lucky Obas, Osaigbovo Samuel, Godfrey Chibuze and Osage Peter for their involvement in homosexual activity.
One of the arrested suspects, Lucky Obas made a confessional statement and confessed that Jefferson Omo Ogieriakhi, who is now at large was his homosexual partner.
The police has subsequently charged the other four persons to court for prosecution while still on the lookout for Jefferson Omo Ogieriakhi as he has been declared wanted forthwith.
Homosexual activities is against the law of section 217 of the criminal code law of Nigeria and offenders are liable to 14 year jail term.
