Land inheritance has remained a serious issue in many families and clans in many parts of the country, especially when the parent or original owner of an expanse of land failed to prepare a Will specifying who should get what before passing away.
One man identified as Igiozee Orobosa and his children are currently in big trouble, as his two sisters have allegedly launched countless physical and spiritual attacks against him over land inheritance.
According to sources, Orobosa was the only son of his father but had other two sisters simply identified as Uwa and Esther, and when their father died, he left some portions of land behind, which sources said is located at Igun and Ring Road, in Edo State South South Nigeria.
Meanwhile, by their tradition, according to sources, Orobosa should inherit the land as the only son of their father, but the two sisters have allegedly refused to let go of the land.
Sources said the two sisters have been engaging in battle with their only brother since the demise of their father over the ownership of the land.
It was gathered that the fight has escalated such that it has turned physical and spiritual and the ladies are allegedly not ready to spare the life of their only brother and his children, because their existence is denying them ownership of the land.
It was also gathered that the two sisters have done many things in the community to implicate Orobosa who eventually ran away from the community after which he was declared wanted by elders.
It was gathered that Orobosa’s children, among whom are Abraham Osaretin Orobosa have earlier run away from the community on the instructions of their father to avoid losing them to the land war which has taken physical and spiritual.
According to sources, the situation however turned against Orobosa some months later. Sources said Orobosa mysteriously fallen ill and suffered stroke.
Although nobody could ascertain exactly the whereabouts of Orobosa children as of the time of this report, sources said the children are the real target of the ladies now as the ladies anticipate that the children may come and fight for the like their father.
Source said Uwa and Esther have vowed to continue the fight with the children if they show up.
