Many vehicles fear burnt in Lagos-Ibadan expressway multiple crash

Multiple crashes were recorded along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Thursday morning which resulted to fire incident where many vehicles got burnt.

A statement by Superintendent Route Commander Florence Okpe Public Education Officer for Sector Commander FRSC Ogun Sector Command reads in parts “FRSC Ogun Sector Command wishes to inform the motoring public on the traffic situation along Lagos-Ibadan expressway due to multiple crash that resulted to fire incident opposite shotong.

“Number of burnt vehicles could not be ascertained for now but effort on to put off the fire as the fire service officials are on ground  and traffic has been diverted to  avoid secondary crash. 

“Motorists are advised to remind calm, discipline, and cooperate with traffic managers.  FRSC and others sister agencies are fully on ground managing the situation”.
