The Assistant Inspector-General of police, in charge of Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto, AIG Gyogon Augustine Grimah, in company of the Commissioner of Police Sokoto state Command, CP Ahmed Musa, along with his management team, on Wednesday April 16, visited Rev. Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese.
The AIG in his address stated that he is at the residence of the bishop to formally introduce himself as the new AIG posted to Zone 10 Police Headquarters, Sokoto and to solicit for the most reverend’s blessings, continuous support and collaboration to promote peace and unity among the diverse culture and religions within the Zone.
Most Rev. Dr Matthew Hassan Kukah, in his remarks, appreciated the AIG and his entourage for the visit. Kukah expressed his belief in the ability of the AIG following his track records. He prayed for God’s blessings, protection and favour upon the AIG in his service delivery.
