Experts expose secrets to success, business-personal life balance at Accelerated Plus Conference

…As Ajilore says success is about resourcefulness, not resources

Experts have charged business owners to try as much as possible to strike a healthy balance between their personal life, work, and business.

The experts gave the advice at the Accelerated Plus Conference held on April 29th, 2023 in Lagos. One of the key themes of the conference was the importance of self-love as speakers emphasized the need for individuals to prioritise self-well-being, as well as take steps to reduce stress and promote physical and mental health.

The conference afforded the attendees to learn practical strategies for business success, managing their time effectively, setting boundaries, and developing habits that promote work-life balance.

While speaking at the conference, the convener, a Business Analyst, Accounting and Consulting Expert, Success Ajilore revealed some salient mindsets that anyone who intends to rise should possess. She said Success is not about one’s resources but about one’s resourcefulness.

She charged participants at the conference never to allow the excuses of ‘not knowing how to’ hinder them from ‘learning how’ and create a quality cycle that will equally serve as a support system.

Also speaking at the event, Human Resource Professional & Founder of Inspired for Impact,  Victoria Ibhawa, who spoke on Standing Out in The Market Place and the need to start out right, stated that no matter the age, one may need to get it right by restarting, if need be.

On his part, the Co-Founder of Pertinence Group Dr. Olorunseyi Sunday spoke on Partnership in Business, the pace of change in business, maturity, mentorship, sacrifice, and avoidance of greed to enhance partnership growth.

Also at the conference, the CEO of Lifepage, Oladipupo Clement spoke on “Five (5) Systems That Will Help Your Business Grow”; which are Value Creation Systems, Marketing Systems, Sales Systems, Value Delivery Systems, and Financial Systems.

The Co-Founder of Pertinence Group, Wisdom Ezekiel on the other hand, spoke extensively on small beginnings, saying no one should be despised on their way to the top, adding that success is a journey. He stresses that a support system should be provided when good and young talents are discovered. According to him, life is all about impact and we must create ladders for others to rise.

The event was also used to launch three new books authored by the convener, Success Ajilore. The books provided practical strategies for achieving success, and a healthy balance between work, business and personal life. The three books “Anyone Can Rise” gives insight into one’s journey to greatness; “Striking A Balance…merging career, Business & Family”; as well as “Dos & Don’ts For SMEs”.
