Ibadan agog as Mustapha installs as Otun Baale of Akinlawon Town

The Baale of Akinlawon Town, Chief Muyiwa Olajire Oguntona has installed Alhaji Jellli Lanre Mustapha as Otun Baale of the town penultimate Saturday
The installation ceremony took place at the Akinlawon Olorioko Village, Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan with dignitaries and family members in attendance.
The event, which marked the first anniversary coronation of Chief Muyiwa Olajire Oguntona as Baale witnessed the emergence of Mr. Adam Babatunde as Balogun Baale, Mr. Muraina Mumini as Otun Balogun, Mr. Gbolagade Dolapo as Ashipa Balogun and Mr. Asimiyu Akinlabi as Agba Akin Baale.
Others were Mr. Kamoru Aderibigbe as Osi Balogun, Mr. Ogundijo Musiliu as Eketa Balogun and Mr. Gbolagade Akinleye as Ekefa Balogun.
Chief Olajire Oguntona urged the new chiefs to use their positions to bring more developmental projects to the town. Stressing that they should not engage in any activity that will relegate their titles to the mud.
Speaking after the installation, Alhaji Jelili Mustapha, who could not hide his joy, expressed his appreciation to the Baale and his well wishers. ” I am very happy today. I feel overwhelmed.”
He promised not to disappoint Sara Jatao Village which nominated him. He added that the title would spur him to serve his people more and better.
In a goodwill message, the Mogaji of Jatao Compound, Chief Saheed Adeyemo a.k.a. Sanjay described the installation of Mustapha as fitting. He prayed for divine guidance and wisdom in sustaining the traditional title.
Another prominent member of Jatao Compound, Aare Ambaliyu Oladejo said Mustapha was selected from the family due to his charismatic personality. He then urged him to carry family members along in the scheme of things
A sister to the celebrant, Alhaja Sherifat Dosola Gbadamosi expressed joy over the installation, saying that the choice of his brother was a seamless process that was borne out of his love, commitment and dedication to the Jatao Family. She described the installation as a watershed in the history of the family.
