Man disappears days after being discharged from hospital, surviving cultist gunshot

Some gunmen suspected to be members of the deadly cult group, Black Axe, struck recently in Benin City, Edo State, as they shot one Tobi Akinsomiro for allegedly refusing to join the cult group.
It was gathered that the cult group also shot dead one pa Akinsomiro, Tobi’s father, at his residence in Isihor community, as a consequence for his son, Tobi not joining their group.
It was gathered that the cult group allegedly killed Pa Akinsomiro less than a month after they shot Tobi Akinsomiro outside his residence.
According to sources, trouble started for Tobi sometime in 2019, when the suspected members of the cult group persuaded him to join the group but he turned their request down.
The group, according to sources, considered the development as an afront and insult to their group, as they hold a philosophy that nobody dare reject their offer.
After several weeks of rejecting their offer to join the cult group, sources said they decided to eliminate Tobi Akinsomiro as their usual last resort.
It was gathered that Tobi was eventually shot outside his residence in Isihor by members of the Black Axe on May 23, 2019, with the intention of eliminating him, as the usual consequence for rejecting the membership offer.
The source said following the gun shot, Tobi was rushed to the hospital where he was treated and admitted for some weeks.
Unfortunately for Tobi, while he was still in the hospital bed, the suspected members of the Black Axe again visited his family home on June 17, 2019, to look for Tobi after a hint that he survived the first gunshot.
Sources said when they got to Tobi’s family house in Isihor and did not see him, they shot his father, Pa Akinsomiro to dead.
After the death of his father, Tobi was discharged from the hospital on June 23, 2019, but since he was discharged from the hospital, nobody knows his whereabouts.
Our correspondent reported that all efforts to locate him since he was discharged from the hospital has proven abortive, and as of press time, nobody knows his whereabouts
Our correspondent findings revealed that Tobi may have run to unknown destination as the only option to save his life from the hand of the unforgiving Black Axe cult group, who are hell bend to eliminate him for declining to join them.
Tobi Akinsomiro, it was gathered, married to one Elizabeth Akinsomiro and they have five children.
