The General Overseer of Abuja based church, Shiloh Word Chapel, prophet I. O Samuel has stressed the importance of true prophets, saying they are vital to the development and growth of every nation.
While speaking on ” the ministry of the prophetic” in a chat with one of our correspondent at his office in Abuja, prophet Samuel lamented that there are a lot of misconception about the office of a prophet, whereas, in the recent biblical account of nations, the role of the prophets were huge and pivotal to the development and growth of nations.
He said “the office of the prophet is respected because they tell you most times what is to come, thereby help in the national planning and budgeting, forecasting and helping in the overall direction the nations will take. It’s unfortunate that we have lots of fake prophets in town today, that’s why the true prophets are not regarded.
“One of the proofs of a true prophet is, check what they say, most times their prophecies are accurate. When I gave the prophecy on How President Buhari came to power by word change, even before APC was formed, many people were mocking us, ditto Osibanjo Helicopter crash; END SARS, Covid-19 with Lock down, ASUU strikes, and Doctors strike. Many didn’t believe until they all happened.
“I also gave the prophecy of Kaduna air crash explained by Owl flying across the state with crying bad omen, death of leaders by COVID before papa Abba Kyari’s exit. Even when I gave the prophecy on the CAMA law, many didn’t believe until it was enacted into law. I believe the role of a true prophet should not be disregarded if we must benefit from what God design for households, organizations, individuals and nations”, the prophet said.
Prophet Samuel called on Nigerians to watch out always pay more attention to his prophecies, insisting that his prophecies are not manmade but from God and that is why they are coming to pass.
“I gave the prophecy of the clash of Christians and persecution. American Capitol MAGA riots, political crises after the US presidential elections, Edo state elections, Ebonyi state and Anambra elections before the victory of both the sitting governors were all foretold. The list is endless. These are just proofs that God speaks to his people for us to work out a realistic plan and make things work”, Prophet Samuel said.
Prophet Samuel, it would be recalled, was seen in a viral video early this year, where he said a terrorist group was going to shake the entire Middle East nations this year. He also mentioned that the new terror group would take over a nation the prophecy, just came to pass in Afghanistan recently when the Taliban took over Afghanistan.
