Man Flees Over Alleged Bisexual Activities, Cultist Threats

By Ade David

For Agbontaen Idahosa Influence, this is not the best of times as he has been running from pillar to post in an attempt to save his face and life after he was allegedly caught in bisexual activities.

According to sources, trouble started for Mr. Influence, a graduate of Banking and Finance in his first year in the University in 2018, when he met one Joshua Ukpong, a male student of his faculty and they both fell in love with each other.

Being bisexual , Mr. Influence later started a serious relationship with one Miss Rashida Abu, his course mate at the University in which they agreed to get married in the near future.

Their relationship however hit a brick wall after graduation in May, 2024, when Rashida’s parents who are devote Muslims gave a condition that their daughter’s fiance, Mr. Influence must convert to a Muslim before he can marry their daughter.

Influence’s parents however rejected the condition which frustrated their marriage plans. Meanwhile, all through the period of their relationship, Rashida never knew that her fiance, Mr. Influence is bisexual. Mr. Influence on the other hand kept his bisexual orientation away from her.

Mr. Influence’s bisexual orientation was later revealed to Rashida when she visited influence without prior notice and caught him and his male partner, Joshua Ukpong having sex.

It was gathered that she shouted, felt disappointed and angrily left because bisexual intercourse is against Islam. Influence’s parents were disappointed in him for being bisexual and resented him for being involved in an act against Benin Customs and Traditions.

It was gathered that Rashida told her military elder brother, identified as Abu Musa about how Mr. Influence treated her, defiled and abandoned her.

Sources said Abu visited Influence’s residence several times in company of suspected cultists identified as members of the dreaded “Eiye”  Confraternity and threatened to kill Influence for his actions. They, however, did not meet him at home in all their visits.

It was gathered that in one of their visits, these cruel cultists shot two persons in the premises of Mr. Influence’s residence for asking why they were looking for Influence.  According to sources, Influence has since ran away to an unknown destination because the local residents were also looking for him to appease the deities of the community.

Bisexual sex and relationships are criminal offences in Nigeria and offenders are liable to 14 years imprisonment with very hard labour upon conviction. Influence is currently bedevilled with two problems of facing the wrath of the law and that of the cultists.
